Learn how to make a J-Pole Antenna

These handy copper-cactus antennas are great projects.  Build one for everyday use, or as an emergency back-up antenna.  Click on the link below for instructions, and a calculator to provide measurements for the frequency you will be using.  They can be built for  6m, 2m, or 70cm.  No ground plane is needed,  just an insulted support of, PVC, rope…etc.
