NEW RADIO ROOM OPENS OCT 6TH 2013

Today, OCT 6th 2013, the new #1 Fire Hall on Gabriola Island will hold their open house from 1 – 4 pm.  As part of this event the new radio room for  ARES radio operations  will also be open to the public. The new call sign will be VE7GEC.

While there is still much work to do in the radio room it will allow the public to see CECA, what CECA does, and how it is done.  This facility will provide enhanced capabilities to the CECA area of responsibility.  Congratulations to all involved.
