US GOVERNMENT AND HAM STATIONS TO TEST EMERGENCY COMMUNICATION.

Below is a link to newspaper article in which last weekends Nanaimo Ground Search and Rescue Simulated Emergency Test is reported. An excellent example of interoperability and cooperation by various response units. Nice to see ham radio mentioned too. The Nanaimo area ARES unit, Coast Emergency Communications Association, participated in the event not the Nanaimo Amateur Radio Association as reported . A great learning event for all involved.
