At the January monthly meeting members of the Coast Emergency Communications Association received Years of Service Pins as Public Safety Lifeline volunteers. This program operates within Emergency Management British Columbia, Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness.
The total years of service for these pins was 162 years, and the total volunteer hours for the organization in 2023 was in excess of thirteen hundred hours. Thank you to all those that volunteer to assist with the safety of residents in Regional District of Nanaimo and the City of Nanaimo.
