Galileo Global Navigation Satellite System in the US is now Partially Approved Nov 22 2018.
The US FCC has granted the use of part of the Galileo Global Navigation System in the US. Not all of the Galileo satellites are approved for use. To learn more go to

Canadians Mark Your Calendar NOV 28 2018
On Nov 28 2018 Canadians will have another test of the wireless emergency alert system. This was tested last May and did not go all that well. This will be another test of the system. For Canada the test will happen at 1355 hrs local, for Quebec it will happen an hour later
