Amateurs in the Nanaimo area of Vancouver Island didn’t have much time to rest. The BC Summer Games ended on Monday and this weekend they will be busy with the annual bath tub race. The Kelowna EOC and the Central Okanagen Regional District (CORD) EOC Comms Team stood down after working the Smith Creek fire near Westbank. The units were stood down at 1900 hrs Sunday July 20th.
