British Columbia QSO Party 2014 less than a month away

Date/Time: 1600z Feb 1 to 0400z Feb 2.

Objective: BC stations can contact anyone anywhere, while stations
outside BC must catch the attention of BC stations.

Rules, exchange and multipliers, as well as helpful hints and a
schedule of same-day events (to capitalize on QSO potential) can be
accessed from the BCQP homepage on the Orca DXCC website.

In BCQP 2013, more than 140 VE7/VA7s got on the air and more districts
in BC were activated. As a result, stations both inside and outside BC
were able to build bigger BCQP logs. The bands were buzzing with
activity and, all-in-all, participants had a great time.

In addition to the fun factor, top scores in every class receive a
one-of-a-kind certificate showcasing beautiful BC — different design
every year — and a cool Orca trinket (for BCQP 2013, a fridge magnet).

In addition, the sponsors of the inaugural plaque program have pledged
their support again for 2014 so we will be able to award plaques in
the following categories: Top BC Score, Top YL Score, Top Score Canada
Outside BC, Top US Score, and Most Electoral Districts Contacted. In
addition, two new plaque categories have been added: Rookie and DX.

A(nother) whale of a good time awaits!
