VIA Geoff Bawden, VE4BAW:

SASKATCHEWAN is Missing! Act Quickly. The RAC Winter Day contest is December 17, 0000 to 2359 UTC.

The great province of Saskatchewan is missing from the RAC Winter Day
contest! Traditionally VE5RAC is on the air twice a year for both the Canada Day and Winter Day Contest but is absent this weekend. Unless you VE5s can help.

Is there an HF qualified, RAC member out there that would like the fun of being VE5RAC? International contacts [outside Canada] are worth 2 points, Canadian contacts are worth 10 points and an official RAC station [VE5RAC] is worth 20 points! You will be on the right side of the pile-up!

You can have one or there can be many operators. The rules are available at the RAC website: www.rac.ca .

2011%20Canada%20Day%20Rules%20 %20English

will get you the rules,

http://www.rac.ca/en/rac/programmes/contests/files/RAC%20Contest%20Software.ZIP

will get you the logging software and
http://www.rac.ca/service/contesting/files/RAC%20Contest%20Entry%20Form%20(C
urrent%20Year).pdf will get you some forms.Everyone that I know thinks that being a RAC operator is great fun.

Use the logging software .. it will make life easy for both the operators and the team that analyzes the results. Send the results to me electronically. Hay-family@shaw.ca . Send me a note if you are interested.

Act fast!
