BC PROVINCIAL STATE OF EMERGENCY EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 18 2017
The Provincial Government has extended the State of Emergency for the entire Province until Aug 18 2017. This allows for provincial control and coordination of actions around the current wildfire situation.
Currently there are over 100 fires burning and several thousand people are under evacuation orders or alerts.
Some jurisdictions are closing parks and trails. Please check before you use either parks or trails.
