US FCC Allows Temporary Use of Pactor 4 During Hawaii Emergency Aug 24 2018

Hawaii Has Activated Emergency Communication Nets Aug 23 2018.
In view of events in Hawaii the SATERN net will activate on Friday Aug 24 2018 at 1300 CDT. The Hurricane Watch Net, The Maritime Mobile Service Net (14.300) the National Hurricane Centre Amateur Radio as well as the ARRL are all currently standing by to assist Hawaii ARES units. The state of Hawaii is operating on 7088 KHz, The National Weather Service Honolulu is operating on 7080 KHz, and SATERN is operating on 14265 KHz
PLEASE ENSURE THE HF FREQUENCY IS NOT IN USE BEFORE YOU USE IT.
