VoIP Hurricane Net: WX-Talk Conference, Node #7203 on Echolink and IRLP Reflector 9219. IRLP Reflector 9553 is the backup. (Due to the number of limited routes to the Echolink node for mobile devices, monitor WX-TALK on a desktop computer if possible.)

Hurricane Net Watch is Active. update 6 OCTOBER 2016 1612UTC

6 OCT 2016  1612   ARES UNITS UP THE US East Coast are now activated. The Hurricane net is currently active on 20 and 40 Metres PLEASE CHECK their website, whose address is in the next paragraph.

 

Hurricane Mathew, currently a category 4 storm, has caused the activation of the Hurricane Watch Net.  Please ensure your frequency is clear prior to use. To see what frequency the Hurricane Watch Net Control is using go to

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2016

UPDATED OCT 24 2016;  THE LOCATION OF THE AGM HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE NANAIMO EOC #1  FIRE HALL ON FITZWILLIAM STREET. THE MEETING WILL START AT 1900 HRS. 

The Coast Emergency Communications Assoction will hold their 2016 Annual General Meeting Thursday Oct 27th 2016. The meeting, which starts at 7pm, will be held in the board room of the Nanaimo Regional District offices at 6300 Hammond Bay Rd., Nanaimo BC
