Florida is looking for more radio operators from within the state to assist with communications as the effects of Hurricane Michael continue to be felt. Operators are requested to have at least vhf/uhf equipment and be able to be self sufficient for up to seven days. To learn more go to

In Support of JOTA this weekend CECA will have two stations working. One station will be in Nanaimo in conjunction with the Nanaimo Amateur Radio Association and the other will be at the Gabriola Emergency Communications Centre.
