The Capitol Regional District is located at the south end of Vancouver Island in the Victoria area. In this areas are many small jurisdictions which are required under the Emergency Act to be able to respond to a serious event. Hopefully this agreement will help remove some of the redundancy and duplication, and will provide a more effective and efficient service.
