Good turn out by ARES members at the Emergency Preparedness and Gabriola Fire Department Open House on Gabriola Island. Several incidents over the winter showed the need for emergency preparedness. This event was being held now so that folks don’t “forget” what happened last winter. Keep emergency preparedness front and center.
