The fire had not advanced and crews are still working. Paradise and Squamish Valley both remain closed ( That includes the back roads !)

Squamish is operating with two EOC’s One EOC is dealing with COVID 19 while the other deals with the fire. Evacuation orders/alerts remain in place.

UPDATED 2355 2020 April 15 Squamish has declared a local State of Emergency due to this fire.
UPDATED 2215 Hrs 2020 April 15 RCMP asking people to stay out of the area. Roadblocks are up.
